Evergreen Runtime (optional) Microsoft provides an alternative distribution called the WebView2 Evergreen Runtime. ![]() This version of the runtime is updated whenever you install a new version of ArcGIS Pro, including any ArcGIS Pro patch release that includes a WebView2 update. It is installed to the WebView folder inside of \ArcGIS\Pro\bin. Fixed Version Runtime (default) ArcGIS Pro includes the WebView2 Fixed Version runtime as part of every ArcGIS Pro installation, and uses it by default.ArcGIS Pro uses Fixed Version by default, but can be configured to use Evergreen instead. There are two distributions of the WebView2 runtime: Fixed Version and Evergreen. The runtime includes the Chromium browser code that WebView2 uses for processing HTML and JavaScript content.
